click this if your glutes are NOT growing!! 🍑

if you are struggling to grow your glutes, trust me you are not the only one out there!!

🧖🏽‍♀️ skipping recovery - your muscles grow when you rest! overtraining WITHOUT rest will cause a stall in your progress. it got me far in the beginning because i had never lifted before, but once i got to a certain point i saw no change in my body. i was so confused because i was at the gym 7 days a week?? girl go home!!! let the muscles grow.

🍽️ not eating enough - growing muscles requires calories. i struggled with this part for awhile because i was scared to “get fat”. CLEARLY that did not happen. prioritize your protein & carbs & the gains will arrive.

🏋🏽‍♀️ bad form - improper form can take the focus off the glutes & onto a different muscle group. focus on QUALITY reps & targeting the correct muscles.

🍑 not enough resistance - besties, progressive overload 🤝🏽 glute gains. (well all muscle gain) but you MUST increase weight. (there are several ways to do progressive overload btw!!) increasing weight is what personally worked best for me.

these are only SOME issues that can be your problem area, but if yall like this ill go ahead & get started on a part 2.🤭

... Read moreIf you’re facing challenges in your glute development, you're not alone! Many experience stalls in muscle growth due to a few common pitfalls. First, let’s dive deeper into the importance of recovery: muscles need time to repair and grow, so prioritizing rest days is crucial. Secondly, proper nutrition is essential—adequate calorie intake, mainly protein and carbs, supports muscle growth. If you've avoided increasing your weights, you're likely missing out on progressive overload, a key factor for muscle gain. Additionally, consistently practicing good form will ensure you're targeting the right muscle groups effectively. Another critical aspect is setting realistic goals and measuring your progress—this can provide motivation and help in adjusting your strategies as needed. Make sure to listen to your body, recognize its signals, and adapt as necessary. Stay tuned for more insights and a potential continuation on mastering your glute workouts!
