I used a North Face bag for my personal item and realized I could have opted for a slightly larger option. Various rules for carry-ons and personal items can be confusing, but with a bit of research, you can maximize space and avoid fees. Despite minor setbacks, like the chaotic scene at Fort Lauderdale airport and mixed customer service reviews, the overall experience was satisfactory, leading me to rate the flight experience an 8/10. Travelers must weigh the pros and cons of budget airlines, but my experience showcases that with the right mindset and preparation, a memorable trip is still possible!
