IS IT AS BAD AS THEY SAY??✈️🧳
i planned a VERY last minute trip to go surprise my lovely boyfriend in florida. thankfully, i snagged a flight from spirit for $260. let me share my experience with yall 😌
i summarized pretty much everything in the slides. i recommend spirit when it comes to the prices & bag sizes. i used a north face bag as my personal item & i think i could have used a little larger of a bag & it would have been okay.
the flight attendants were great & so kind regardless of the situation. the wifi did not work on the brand new plane & on the older plane. they did announce they would refund all of us who bought it beforehand!
the flight was smooth both directions & the takeoff & landings were just fine. i felt safe on both flights. ✈️

Embarking on a spontaneous trip with Spirit Airlines can be both thrilling and uncertain. With budget airlines gaining popularity, many travelers wonder about the value versus cost. My latest experience flying from Dallas to Fort Lauderdale had both ups and downs. When selecting Spirit Airlines, I was pleasantly surprised by the ticket price of $260 round-trip—a budget-friendly option that allowed me to enjoy a last-minute getaway. The low cost often wins over travelers, but it’s crucial to understand the potential downsides. On the positive side, the flight attendants were exceptionally friendly, making the onboard experience enjoyable. The trip on the brand-new plane offered plenty of legroom, a feature often overlooked when evaluating budget airlines. However, essential amenities like functioning Wi-Fi were disappointing, particularly since I had paid for it but couldn’t access it during my flights. Spirit did announce refunds which was a positive response to the issue. Packing for Spirit needs careful consideration. I used a North Face bag for my personal item and realized I could have opted for a slightly larger option. Various rules for carry-ons and personal items can be confusing, but with a bit of research, you can maximize space and avoid fees. Despite minor setbacks, like the chaotic scene at Fort Lauderdale airport and mixed customer service reviews, the overall experience was satisfactory, leading me to rate the flight experience an 8/10. Travelers must weigh the pros and cons of budget airlines, but my experience showcases that with the right mindset and preparation, a memorable trip is still possible!

yeah fll spirit gate agents are something else. worse experience i ever had! we gate checked my sons stroller and they wouldnt help & sent us on a wild goose chase to baggage claim & back through security just to find out they put it in the undercarriage of the other plane (he was 13 months & i was 6 months pregnant)
