Yuh, imma go head and talk my shit
Yall cant whoop me anyway🥱🥱
The only reason im even yapping on here is bc no one i personally know personally is on here, okay maybe except like 1 person, but this aint got shit to do w them so🤷🏻♀️ keep scrolling✌️
ANYWAYYYYYYYYYYYY
Im actually genuinely upset with my mothers followers on instagram. Recently ive been helping her promote her content better bc shes a small business owner but shes not into technology so her posting skills are… anyway the people that follow her, are her personal friends and family, which is fine if they ACTUALLY SUPPORTED HER. Now im not saying they need to buy her products but fuck, LIKE THE POST, SHARE IT TO OTHERS. Its genuinely not hard to do and ITS FREE. So WHAT THE FUCK IS THEIR ISSUE?????
My thought process is that they’re just watching looking for shit to talk about, so i UNFOLLOWED ALL OF THEM!! They still follow so that proves (at least to me) that they dont actually support her and are just looking for shit to talk about. Also I posted a slick ass worded story saying if they go and like the post, and show up to our upcoming pop up event they could get 10% on an already made product. And of course NONE OF THEM EVEN WENT TO LOOK AT THE POST.
Am i shocked? No.
Am i surprised, definitely not.
Am i disappointed, ABSOLUTELY.
I just dont understand the point of following family you dont like. IF YALL DONT LIKE US STOP BEING NOSY IN OUR LIFE!! WERE NOT THAT INTERESTING AND YALL ARE FUCKING LOSERS!!
And like i said, cant none of them WHOOP ME & NONE OF THEM GOT THE BALLS TO GET THAT SHIT OFF THEY CHEST EITHER! Least they could do is unfollow back.
Thank god instagram has the feature where you can make people unfollow you LMFAOO!! Spy on this dick🖕
Shit if you made it this far, follow my moms instagram @ josievibes2023 i follow just about everyone back❤️❤️ thanks for reading my rant tho, have a great day yall✨
Oh my goodness, I totally get where you're coming from! It's beyond frustrating when you're pouring your heart into a small business, and the people closest to you seem to be the least supportive on social media. It feels like a punch to the gut, doesn't it? You expect a certain level of cheerleading from your inner circle, and when it doesn't materialize, it's incredibly disheartening. From my own experience, I've seen this happen with so many small business owners. Sometimes, it's not even malicious. Our friends and family might just not understand the huge impact a simple like, share, or comment truly has on a small business's visibility, especially with Instagram's ever-changing algorithms. They might think, 'Oh, I'll support them by buying something when I need it,' completely unaware that engagement actually helps the business reach new potential customers. Other times, unfortunately, there might be a subtle jealousy at play, or they're just not as invested as you are. It’s hard to swallow, but it’s a reality many of us face. So, what can we do when our nearest and dearest fall short on the digital support front? First, sometimes a gentle, direct conversation can work wonders. Instead of assuming they know, you could say something like, 'Hey, just wanted to mention how much it helps my mom's business if you could just hit like or share her posts when you see them. It really makes a difference to her reach!' You’d be surprised how many people genuinely don’t connect those dots. Beyond that, it's crucial to broaden your promotion strategies. While family support is lovely, it shouldn't be the sole pillar of a small business's marketing. Think about connecting with other local businesses in areas like Millburn, New Jersey, for collaborations or cross-promotion. Networking within the local community can open up so many doors. Also, make sure to leverage local events, just like your mom did with her pop-up shop. Events like the one on January 25th, 2025, from 12pm to 5pm at 189 Main St, Millburn NJ 07040 are amazing opportunities to connect directly with customers and build genuine relationships. Even if family didn't show up, capture tons of photos and videos from these events to share online later – showcasing the vibrant atmosphere and happy customers can be incredibly compelling. Ultimately, while it stings when family doesn't show up in the way you hope, try to channel that energy into building a community with the people who do genuinely engage. Respond to every comment, thank every share, and focus on nurturing those relationships. Your passion for your mom's business is clear, and that dedication will attract the right kind of support. Keep shining!
