Mini Curio Cabinet Update

This piece will be used for vintage quilt storage/display, so no interior shelving was wanted. The client has the glass panels, so I wasn’t able to reassemble the piece. I did manage to get one photo without the glass and thanks to technology, CHATGPT gave me a rendering of a finished/staged piece. It turned out cute, right?!!

This mini curio cabinet was completely updated. The interior mirror was removed and replaced with wood-the glass was all removed for easier refinishing. The top, doors and bottom drawer were all stripped and restained in a custom mix. The rest of the piece was painted in Lamp Black by General Finishes and sealed with GFHPTC. By adding new legs and a new top, I converted this dated hutch to a modern curio cabinet. The exterior is painted in Benjamin Moore Advance in the color Satin Black. The interior is the original oak finish with glass shelves. Upcycled knobs were painted gold. And the real star: this stunning
