Decor doesn’t have to be hard. Here is an easy DIY that absolutely anyone can do! A beginner-friendly project! It’s easy, it’s inexpensive and it’s stylish! This is just one example using old, outdated Thanksgiving figurines. You could use this update for almost any figurines! I found these pilgrim and turkey figurines at my local thrift store for under $5 combined! I brought them home, cleaned them up and then used a black spray paint and painted them. I did two coats and then let them dry. Next I used a gold Rubnbuff and lightly went over the details. You could also use a gilding wax. Buff them lightly and spray a clear coat on them! That’s it! Aren’t they cute?! Sophisticated, modern and oh so stylish! These would nice for your own decor but wouldn’t they make a one of a kind, unique, hostess gift too?!
