Firehouse’s pepperoni pizza meatball sub
Firehouse ppms (pepperoni pizza meatball sub) is a long title jeez lol, anyways thts besides the point. I tried this with my mom and we got a medium which was like $10.75 which isn’t bad but still a lil pricey for a medium but we did split it.
I loved the over taste of the sub was really good, the pepperoni was good it really compliments the sub and the meatballs tasted like the subway meatballs( just my personal opinion) yea that’s my personal opinion.
If you guys tried it lmk wat ur opinion is of the sub
Hey everyone! I recently shared my initial thoughts on the Firehouse Pepperoni Pizza Meatball Sub (PPMS), and while I loved diving into that unique twist, I wanted to expand a bit more on what makes Firehouse Subs' meatball offerings, and sub experience in general, so noteworthy. First off, let's talk about the star of the show: the meatballs. In the PPMS, I noted they reminded me a bit of Subway's, but Firehouse really elevates them with their rich, savory red sauce. It's not just a basic marinara; it has a depth of flavor that coats each meatball perfectly. And when it comes to the bread – oh, the bread! Firehouse is known for steaming their subs, and it makes all the difference. That soft bread roll, warm and slightly chewy, is the ideal vessel for all those delicious fillings. It's not overly crusty or hard, which means every bite is easy and satisfying. For those who haven't tried the PPMS, imagine that classic meatball sub experience but with an extra layer of deliciousness. The pepperoni slices aren't just an afterthought; they get nicely warmed and slightly crispy, adding a fantastic salty, spicy kick that cuts through the richness of the meatballs and sauce. And the cheese? My sub had beautifully melted white cheese, gooey and perfectly incorporated, creating that irresistible pull-apart moment. They also sprinkle it with dried herbs, which adds a lovely aromatic touch that you might not expect from a typical fast-casual sub spot. Beyond the PPMS, Firehouse offers a classic meatball sub, which is a fantastic choice if you're looking for a more traditional take. It still features those delicious meatballs, robust red sauce, and melted provolone cheese, often on their signature toasted bread. What I appreciate about Firehouse is their commitment to quality ingredients. You can genuinely taste the difference. When I grab a Firehouse sub, I often think about the value. While my medium PPMS was around $10.75, which felt a little pricey for a medium, the portion sizes are generally generous, especially if you go for a large. And considering the quality of the ingredients and the flavorful experience, it often feels worth it. It's definitely a step up from some other sub chains where the ingredients can feel a bit more generic. If you're thinking of trying a Firehouse meatball sub, here are a few tips based on my experiences: Don't skip the steaming: This is Firehouse's signature, and it genuinely enhances the flavors and texture of the sub. Customize your cheese: While I loved the white cheese on my PPMS, they usually offer provolone or cheddar for their classic meatball subs. Consider a side: Their chips and drinks are standard, but sometimes a small side can round out the meal perfectly. Portion size: A medium is usually enough for one, but if you're super hungry or planning to share, a large is the way to go. So, whether you're craving the classic Firehouse meatball sub or ready to venture into the Pepperoni Pizza Meatball Sub territory, I highly recommend giving it a try. It’s a hearty, flavorful, and satisfying meal that rarely disappoints. Have you tried their meatball subs? What's your favorite Firehouse creation?
