🗺️ Is there a best road trip stop in the US?🚗

(Other than Cracker Barrel Old Country Store of course, famously the best road trip stop)

I recently got to do a road trip from Denver to Boston, and I really enjoyed it! I grew up in Massachusetts, but went to college in Denver. While I’m doing the #lemon8diarychallenge I will talk about some of my other stops, but this was definitely the most gorgeous stop, and the place we spent the most time.

Niagara Falls was beautiful, and I got to see a rainbow, which I took a selfie with in the first photo 🤯. I have never gotten such a good photo with a rainbow! Me and my dad both refused to wear the ponchos on the Maid of the Mist because it was so ridiculously hot out, and we got soaked to the bone, which you can kind of see in the second photo. You can also see us holding our unworn ponchos 😅. It was a really awesome thing to see, I was definitely in awe and made my dad stay there longer than he wanted to. Also, #protip , they have a weirdly awesome shop in the Niagara Falls State Park if you’re looking to get and gifts!

Also, go to Swan Street Diner if you’ve never been. The food and atmosphere is ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!! It is genuinely amazing.

... Read moreEmbarking on a road trip from Denver to Boston was an adventure of a lifetime, and while every mile held its charm, there was one stop that truly stole the show: Niagara Falls. It wasn't just a scenic detour; it was an experience that felt like the main event, a breathtaking spectacle that solidified its place as an ultimate road trip destination. When planning a road trip to Niagara Falls, especially if you're coming from afar like I was, considering the 'Niagara Falls USA itineraries' is key. I discovered that while you could spend days exploring, even a focused visit can be incredibly rewarding. My trip gave me a glimpse of its grandeur, and I'm here to share some tips that will make your visit just as unforgettable. First, let's talk about the sheer power of Niagara Falls. While it might not be the world's 'tallest waterfall' in terms of height, its immense volume and width create a spectacle that few other falls can match. Standing at its edge, feeling the ground tremble, and watching millions of gallons of water cascade down is a truly humbling experience. This raw power is what sets it apart and makes it an absolute must-see on any comprehensive road trip. One of the highlights of my visit was definitely the Maid of the Mist boat tour. You might think you're prepared for the mist, but trust me, it's an immersive experience! My dad and I decided to brave it without ponchos, and we got absolutely soaked to the bone – just like you can see in some of my photos! It was surprisingly hot out, making the drenching feel refreshing, and honestly, part of the fun. Holding those blue ponchos in our hands while getting drenched became a funny memory. If you're looking to capture a picture with a vibrant rainbow, like the one I managed to snag, aim for a sunny day when the mist catches the light just right. It's truly magical. Beyond the Maid of the Mist, exploring Niagara Falls State Park offers incredible vantage points and walking trails. Don't forget to check out the oddly awesome shop within the State Park for unique souvenirs and gifts. There’s a certain charm to finding unexpected treasures on a road trip, and this shop definitely delivered! And after all that excitement and getting wonderfully drenched, you’ll definitely work up an appetite. My personal recommendation? Make a stop at Swan Street Diner. The food and atmosphere were genuinely five-star! It's the kind of local gem that makes a road trip truly special – discovering places with amazing character and delicious meals. It was the perfect spot to refuel and recount our Niagara adventures. For anyone considering a road trip, whether it’s a quick getaway or a cross-country epic like my Denver to Boston journey, don't underestimate the power of a well-chosen stop. Niagara Falls isn't just a destination; it's a monumental experience that adds incredible depth to any travel itinerary. Plan your visit, embrace the mist, and prepare to be awe-struck – it's a stop you absolutely can't miss!
