Okay, so I finally got around to diving deep into GloRilla's latest project, the 'GLORIOUS' album, and I have to say, it's been a staple on my MY WEEKEND PLAYLIST ever since. The anticipation for this GloRilla album was real, and from the moment I saw the glorilla album cover, I knew I was in for something bold. That close-up shot of her on the 'GLORIOUS' album cover just screams confidence and sets the stage perfectly for what's inside. My first listen was an experience. The album kicks off strong, and even the 'INTRO' track had me hooked, building up that raw energy GloRilla is known for. But let's talk about the standouts for me. As mentioned, 'I luv her' featuring T-Pain is an absolute bop. The synergy between them is undeniable. T-Pain's signature sound blends seamlessly with GloRilla's gritty flow, creating a track that's both catchy and heartfelt. It's one of those songs that just gets stuck in your head in the best way possible. I found myself hitting 'replay' multiple times, just to soak in the vibes. Then there's 'Glo’s Prayer,' which truly resonated with me on a deeper level. It's refreshing to hear that vulnerability and introspection from her. It showcased a different side of Glo Rilla that I really appreciated, proving she's more than just hype tracks. Beyond these two, I also found myself nodding along to tracks like 'HOLLON' (as seen on the music player interface), which brings that classic GloRilla energy. Overall, I gave the GloRilla GLORIOUS album an 8 out of 10 because it delivered on the hype, offered some surprising depth, and definitely gave me new anthems for my rotation.
