100 Burpees a Day Changed Everything
My trainer said burpees were a waste of time. So I did 100 every single day for a month just to prove him wrong. By day 30 I couldn't believe what happened to my body — or my screen time 📱💪

Taking on the challenge of 100 burpees each day for 30 days was tough but extremely rewarding. In the beginning, I struggled a lot — by day one, after just 40 burpees, I almost felt sick and my legs were trembling past rep 60. This physical strain made me question if I could make it through the entire month. However, by the second week, I noticed a change in not just my body but my mindset. I began waking up without hitting the snooze button, which was a big win for me. Instead of immediately grabbing my phone, I found myself eager to get moving. This was surprisingly effective in reducing my screen time, which dropped from an excessive 7 hours to just around 2 hours daily by day 30. Running a mile without stopping for the first time in four years was a milestone that showcased the endurance I’d gained. Tracking my progress with the Repscroll app helped me stay accountable, making me realize that physical activity gave me less desire to scroll endlessly on my phone. Additionally, the consistent burpee routine significantly boosted my overall fitness and helped me shed 10 kilograms. Incorporating burpees into daily life proves that bodyweight exercises require no equipment but can deliver powerful results. This challenge not only improved my health but also my relationship with technology, showing me that when I stay active, it's easier to put the phone down and stay present.
