4 Interview Questions To Ask

➡️ Now we know interviews are just filled with lies.

You won’t know what you are truly dealing with until you get in there, but here’s a list of questions that you can keep in your back pocket. #interview #interviewadvice #interviewtips

1/20 Edited to

... Read moreIn my experience, asking the right questions during an interview is just as important as answering them well. One of the biggest lessons I've learned is that interviews often conceal the real day-to-day challenges you might face. For example, when I asked about the challenges in the role, it opened up an honest conversation with the hiring manager that helped me understand potential obstacles early on. Another question about how the company uses staff feedback can tell you a lot about the culture. I once interviewed where the manager proudly shared examples of positive changes made from employee suggestions, which showed me the company truly valued its people. Conversely, vague or evasive answers in this area can be red flags. Understanding team dynamics is vital too. Asking what traits make someone successful on the team helped me gauge if I would fit in and how to navigate the manager's expectations. When the response wasn’t aligned with my working style, I reconsidered the opportunity. Lastly, a seemingly simple question about celebrating birthdays revealed how much the company values its employees beyond work. Noticing the interviewer's body language and enthusiasm helped me assess the overall environment. These four questions are more than just icebreakers; they provide critical insights to protect you from walking into a toxic environment. I recommend preparing these questions so you can confidently evaluate your next potential employer from the inside out.
