This perspective transforms fear into faith and hesitation into courage. Like the devotional emphasizes, God’s placement of gifts inside us means we’re uniquely equipped for the roles we’re called to fulfill, even if the path ahead isn’t fully visible. In my own journey, embracing this truth helped me move beyond self-doubt. There were times when fear whispered louder than hope, when uncertainty clouded my vision, but remembering Jeremiah 1:5 — "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; before you were born I set you apart" — gave me a foundation to stand strong. Each horse has its own role and purpose, from running barrels to providing peace. This reminds me that our purposes don’t need to be grandiose or compare to others'; they simply need to contribute meaningfully where we are. Taking the next faithful step, even without seeing the whole trail, is a challenge that requires boldness. What helped me was daily prayer and reflection, asking God for the boldness to walk in what He’s placed before me and for strength when fear tries to hold me back. Trusting that He rides beside me changes the journey from a fearful trek into an empowered ride.
