We all carry things we wish we could hide.
Mistakes.
Regret.
Seasons we’re not proud of.
The world calls it dirt.
But God sees something deeper.
He sees a heart still worth loving.
A life still worth restoring.
A story still worth rewriting.
Nothing you’ve done is too much for Him.
Nothing you’ve been through disqualifies you.
His grace doesn’t just cover your past…
It reaches deeper than it.
Deeper than your failures.
Deeper than your shame.
Deeper than anything you’re carrying.
You are not too far gone.
You are not too messy.
You are not beyond redemption.
God’s grace runs deeper than all of it. 🤎

Reflecting on God’s grace in my own life, I’ve realized it truly runs deeper than any mistake or period of regret we carry. Life often feels messy, like we have dirt embedded in the story of who we are. But grace meets us not after we clean up our mess but right in the middle of it. When overwhelmed by shame or unworthiness, I find that resting in God’s mercy brings peace that striving for perfection can’t provide. One powerful truth is that muddy boots, so to speak, symbolize progress rather than failure. Every time I’ve stumbled or felt too broken, extending grace to myself through the eyes of faith has allowed growth and healing. Instead of hiding our dirt or feeling disqualified, grace invites us to be renewed and restored. It encourages us to stop hiding and start rewriting our life story with hope. A verse that deeply resonates is Romans 5:20 – “Where sin increased, grace increased all the more.” This reminds me that no failure is too great for God’s mercy. We can ask ourselves: Where in my life do I still feel messy or unworthy? How might I invite God’s grace to cover that space completely? In my own experience, embracing this question leads to profound transformation. Moreover, grace doesn’t wait for conditions to be perfect; it shows up boldly in mistakes and second chances. Seeing grace as active in the ‘mud’ of life helps me celebrate progress rather than perfection. If you’re carrying shame or regret today, know that God’s grace is deeper, wider, and stronger than all of it. Trusting in this truth has been a journey of surrender, acceptance, and ultimately freedom in faith.
