It’s never too early to explain to your children about Jesus, even the painful parts….I explained to her.. it doesn’t end there…There is good news! 🥹…”Death could not hold you, the veil tore before you, you silenced the boast of sin & grave..the heavens are roaring the praise of your glory, for you are raised to life again! You have no rival you have no equal. Now & forever God you reign! Yours is the Kingdom, yours is the Glory, yours is the names above all names! What a powerful name it is! What a powerful name it is! Tha name of Jesus Christ my KING!” 🤍✝️🫶🏼
Explaining the story of Jesus to young children can feel challenging, especially when it involves difficult topics like His suffering and death. From my experience, it's important to balance honesty with hope, emphasizing that Jesus' story doesn't end with pain or death. Using accessible language and focusing on the uplifting message of resurrection helps children understand the core of Christian faith. When my 6-year-old watched "The Passion of the Christ" for the first time with understanding, it opened a door for meaningful conversation. I explained that Jesus endured suffering out of love for us but rose again, conquering death. This gives us all hope and shows His incredible power and grace. I found that repeating phrases like "What a powerful name it is!" helps reinforce Jesus' importance in a way children can remember. Including interactive elements, such as singing worship songs or reading children's Bible stories that highlight Jesus' triumph over sin and death, further deepens a child's connection. Incorporating hashtags like #Jesus, #Christ, and #yeshua into conversations or during family devotion can also create a sense of community and belonging. Ultimately, sharing your faith journey honestly and with warmth encourages children to ask questions and form their own understanding. It's never too early to nurture a lasting relationship with Jesus, building a foundation of hope and love that stays with them forever.
