Monday Reset as a Pastor’s Wife
This is a realistic view of what our house looks like after Sundays. When Sunday is essentially a work day (in the best sense!), there’s little time to get much of anything done. This week was especially busy with some unexpected travel, but this morning was a very much appreciated slow one!
As a pastor's wife and stay-at-home mom (SAHM), Mondays can often feel overwhelming after a busy Sunday packed with church activities. Not only does Sunday serve as a workday filled with spiritual engagement, but it also leaves little room for household management. This article will delve into practical strategies for creating a refreshing Monday morning reset. Start your week off on the right foot by setting aside time for self-care, organizing your living space, and preparing meals in advance. Implementing small rituals such as a warm cup of coffee or quiet reflection can significantly enhance your motivation. Moreover, involving your family in the clean-up process can foster teamwork and create a more uplifting environment. Celebrate the transition from a busy weekend to a calm weekday, ensuring your home reflects the peace you aim to cultivate. Remember, a well-organized space leads to a well-organized mind, allowing you to serve both your family and community more effectively.
