Rearranged the shelves 🌼
I love them ✨
I just spent the whole day reorganizing my bookshelves, and I'm absolutely in love with how everything turned out! There's nothing quite like the satisfaction of transforming a space and giving your beloved collection a fresh, aesthetic display. I wanted to share some of my personal tips and tricks for creating a vibrant anime figure and manga shelf that truly reflects your passion. First off, don't be afraid to mix and match! My shelves are a blend of manga volumes and anime figures, creating a dynamic visual. For example, I love placing my My Hero Academia figures like Dabi and Hawks right next to the manga series. It tells a story and makes the display feel more cohesive. You can see I’ve got a good mix, from the intense world of Chainsaw Man and the magical charm of Witch Hat Atelier to the romantic drama of Vampire Knight and My Little Monster. Having these series prominently displayed makes it easy to grab one for a re-read, and it also adds a lot of character. When it comes to arranging anime figures, it's all about creating visual interest. I use different heights to make the display pop. Taller figures, like some of my Sailor Moon or Goku statues, go at the back, with smaller Funko Pops or Nendoroids like Hatsune Miku and Nezuko in front. Sometimes, I even use a stack of books (like "Kingdom of the Feared" or "Moon Witch, Spider King") as a riser for a figure, adding another layer of texture. Don’t forget to group characters from the same series together, like my Todoroki figure with other MHA merch, to create mini-scenes on your shelf. Beyond just figures and manga, incorporating other aesthetic elements really elevates the display. I adore adding cute plush toys, like the blue bat or white bear, nestled between manga stacks. Small decorative items, like a moon lamp or even a unique book holder (mine says "BOOK PERSON" and is mushroom-shaped!), add personality. I also have some nostalgic pieces, like my boxed Rainbow Brite doll and a colorful dragon figure, which bring a touch of vintage charm. And for a truly personalized touch, consider a backdrop! A beautiful tapestry, like my big Sailor Moon one, or even a framed poem, can instantly transform the entire look of your bookshelf. Plus, a little bit of greenery, like a hanging vine, adds a fresh, calming touch. For those with a smaller manga bookshelf, every inch counts! Vertical stacking for manga can save space, and rotating your figures periodically keeps the display feeling fresh without needing more room. I try to organize my manga by series, but sometimes I’ll group by color or genre for an aesthetic appeal. It's truly a joy to curate a space that showcases all the things I love. Watching my collection evolve and finding new ways to arrange everything is a never-ending, fun project!
