Worth the Hype & the Wait—Jeju Slurps Hit Hard 😮‍💨🔥

You have to try the seafood ramen in Jeju — it’s honestly worth the hype. 🦐🦑 The seafood was super fresh, and every slurp was perfection. The queue was crazy long when we went, but here’s a little hack: if you don’t mind sitting outside, you’ll get your food almost immediately! 😎

Also… there’s a friendly little cat that’ll come by and gently ask for food — so cute 😹

And omg the raw octopus… SO GOOD. Even as I’m typing this, I’m already craving it again 🤤

... Read moreIf you're planning a trip to Jeju and love seafood, I highly recommend adding Noraba to your itinerary. From my experience, the ambiance itself is charming, especially with the friendly cat that visits diners—I found this little touch added warmth to the dining experience. The seafood ramen here isn’t just a meal; it’s a celebration of Jeju’s rich ocean flavors, combining fresh shrimp, squid, and tender octopus that’s caught locally. One handy tip I found is that seating outside can significantly reduce waiting times, perfect if you’re eager to taste the famed haemul ramyeon without the lengthy queue. Besides the ramen, Noraba also offers specialties like octopus sashimi and traditional Korean-style old lunch boxes, showcasing authentic island flavors. Prices are reasonable too, like the octopus ramen priced around 15,900 KRW and seafood ramen for 11,000 KRW as shown on their menu. For adventurers wanting a genuine island food experience, the hearty seafood soup and chewy sea noodles stand out as must-tries. Don’t forget to bring a little cash, as this spot is beloved by locals and tourists alike but keeps things traditional. Make sure to capture the moment with a photo of the vibrant dish and the cozy ambiance—a perfect social post for your trip memories!

Nestled in a cute little house, just a hundred metres or so from Slowboat Atelier! Great pastries, excellent coffee (finally a decent roast) and they do have merchandise to take away. There’s more seating inside with air conditioning (or heating, depending on which season you turn up at)- l
