... Read moreReading about the 4 TYPES OF WEALTH – Social, Financial, Time, and Physical – really made me rethink what it means to be truly rich. It's not just about the money in your bank account, which is a common misconception I had for years! What I’ve learned is that achieving real wealth stability comes from nurturing all these areas, creating a robust foundation for a truly fulfilling life.
For me, the concept of 'wealth stability' truly clicked when I realized how interdependent these dimensions are. If your financial wealth is soaring but your physical health is failing, are you truly stable? Or if you have all the money and health but lack meaningful social connections, is that real abundance? I’ve found that when one area is strong, it can often support others. For instance, good physical health gives you the energy to pursue financial goals, and strong social wealth can provide invaluable support during financial lean times. This holistic approach is what creates a truly resilient and stable life, rather than one always teetering on the edge of crisis if one pillar falters.
Another huge part of building this multi-dimensional wealth, which I've been actively working on, is what I'd call a 'judgement detox.' So often, our own limiting beliefs and societal pressures hold us back. I used to judge myself harshly for not being 'further ahead' financially, or for wanting more time freedom instead of constantly hustling. This internal judgment, and the fear of external judgment, stopped me from making bold moves. For example, when it came to building my social wealth, I used to be so hesitant to network, thinking I wasn't 'important' enough. Letting go of that fear, and realizing that everyone has value to offer, completely transformed my approach to connecting with others. It's about releasing the beliefs that hold you back from living a better life, whether it’s about money, time, health, or relationships.
Expanding on social wealth and its connection to status, it's so much more than just having a large network on social media. True social wealth is about cultivating deep, meaningful relationships built on trust and reciprocity. I used to chase superficial connections, thinking more contacts meant more status. But I've learned that having a smaller, trusted circle where you can genuinely support each other is far more valuable. This kind of 'status' isn't about bragging rights; it's about being known as reliable, supportive, and someone others can count on. It’s what helps you navigate challenges, discover new opportunities, and feel truly connected. Actively investing in these relationships – checking in, offering help, celebrating successes – has not only enriched my life but also subtly elevated my perceived 'status' in a way that feels authentic and sustainable. It’s a powerful component of overall wealth that often gets overlooked, but its impact on your well-being and success is immeasurable. By balancing all 4 TYPES OF WEALTH, I'm building a life that feels genuinely rich and stable.
SO IMPORTANT to realize that there’s not just *ONE* “wealth”!
