And then there was discipline, a steady, upward-trending orange line, always moving forward, day in and day out, regardless of how you *feel*. It was a game-changer for understanding true, long-term success. So, how do you get off the motivation rollercoaster and onto the discipline highway? For me, it started small. Instead of aiming for a huge, hour-long workout that felt daunting on low-motivation days, I committed to just 10 minutes. The key is to make it so easy, so non-negotiable, that you can't say no. This isn't about grand gestures; it's about building 'discipline muscle' over time, like consistently lifting small weights. Each small, disciplined action reinforces the habit. In my spiritual journey, waiting for 'inspiration' often meant waiting forever to meditate or reflect. Now, I schedule my time for it, just like any other important appointment.
