It’s amazing what you learn when you start paying attention to your reactions. Why do certain comments trigger me? What patterns do I fall into under stress? This awareness has been crucial for breaking out of old habits and choosing more constructive responses. It’s not about judging yourself, but understanding the 'why' behind your behaviors, which then empowers you to change them. The idea of finding peace with misunderstanding is incredibly powerful. I used to strive for everyone to 'get' me, but it was exhausting.
