You know how sometimes you catch yourself saying things like, 'I'm always so unlucky' or 'I'm just not good at this'? I used to do that all the time, and I genuinely believed those things were my unchangeable reality. It wasn't until I stumbled upon the idea that 'how you express yourself matters' that things started to click for me. I heard it said, and it really stuck with me, that 'Your subconscious mind cannot differentiate between reality and imagination.' This was a game-changer! Think about it: when I kept telling myself, 'I am insecure,' my mind just accepted it as an absolute truth. It felt like an unshakeable part of my identity. But then I learned this profound distinction: 'You are not insecure; you feel insecure.' It’s a subtle shift in language, but the impact is massive. Feelings, as the article mentions, 'come and go.' They are temporary visitors, not permanent residents in our identity. Realizing 'You are not your feelings' gave me so much power back. Instead of identifying with the feeling, I could simply acknowledge it and then consciously choose to think, speak, and act differently. I started experimenting with this. I focused on being 'mindful of how I express myself,' not just to others, but especially to myself. The teachings of Neville Goddard, about 'living in the end,' really resonated with me here. He talks about immersing yourself in the feeling of having already achieved your desires. For me, this translated into consciously choosing words that mirrored the reality I wanted to create, not the one I was currently experiencing. For instance, instead of 'I hope this works out,' I'd try 'I am so grateful this is working out beautifully.' It felt a little silly at first, like I was tricking myself, but the more I practiced, the more I noticed my inner state shifting. It's like planting seeds in your subconscious garden. Every word, every affirmation, every thought is a seed. If you keep planting 'I'm not good enough' seeds, that's what will grow. But if you intentionally plant 'I am capable' or 'I attract abundance,' your subconscious mind starts working to make that your reality because it doesn't question the input. It simply executes based on the instructions it receives. This isn't about ignoring challenges; it's about approaching them from a place of empowerment rather than limitation. I've found that even just repeating a simple mantra like 'My words create my world' daily has really helped to keep me focused and positive. The journey to mastering your self-expression and harnessing the 'power of your subconscious mind' is ongoing, but it's incredibly rewarding. I truly believe that by consciously choosing our words and thoughts, we're not just changing our mood; we're actively reshaping our 'reality.'
