For example, instead of waiting for a new project at work, I proactively pitched an idea to my manager. The outcome wasn't always perfect, but the feeling of control and agency was incredibly empowering. I learned that being proactive isn't about grand gestures; it's about consistent, small steps forward. Similarly, 'Begin with the End in Mind' became my compass. Before starting any significant task or even planning my week, I now take 5-10 minutes to visualize the desired outcome. What does success look like? How will I feel?
