Why does change feel so terrifying? It’s often because we’re giving up the familiar for the unknown. Our brains are wired for survival, and the unknown can feel like a threat. We fear failure, judgment, losing what we have, or simply not being good enough to navigate the new landscape. But here’s the thing I painfully learned: the regret of not trying, of letting fear dictate my life, became far scarier than any potential outcome of change. Staying stuck in a situation that wasn't serving me, professionally or personally, felt like a slow fade rather than a bold leap.
