When you *become genuinely interested in other people*, they feel seen and valued, and that's when doors start to open. One of the biggest game-changers for me was understanding how to *be a positive influence to others*. It's not about preaching or telling people what to do. Instead, I try to lead by example, share my own experiences when appropriate, and offer support rather than judgment. Think about how friends can influence you positively – they encourage you, believe in you, and help you see new perspectives. That's the kind of influence I strive for. I've found that when you consistently bring positive energy and support, people naturally gravitate towards your ideas and vision, almost unconsciously. And speaking of ideas, have you ever heard of the concept of 'arousing in the other person an eager want'? It sounds a bit intense, but it's really profound. It means instead of trying to convince someone to do something your way, you help them see how their goals align with your suggestion.
