私が「CHIYA-BA（チヤバ）」に行く前に気になっていたのが、“実際どれくらい並ぶ？」「何を頼めばいい？」「席は落ち着ける？”の3つでした。行列のイメージが強いお店なので、これから行く方の参考になればうれしいです。 まず待ち時間の目安。私は日曜の夕方に行って3組待ちでしたが、テイクアウトのお客さんも多いので列の進みは意外と早めに感じました。逆に、天気が良い日や観光客が増える時間帯は並びやすい印象。確実にゆっくりしたいなら、平日昼〜夕方早めを狙うのが安心です。 注文は王道のマサラチャイ（ホット）にしましたが、スパイスが前に出すぎない“飲みやすいチャイ”で、チャイ初心者でもハードルが低いと思いました。ミルク感がしっかりありつつ、後味にスパイスの香りがふわっと残る感じ。甘さの好みがある人は、受け取り時に味の印象を見て、次回は甘さ控えめ／しっかりめを相談してみても良さそうです（お店が混んでいないタイミングだと聞きやすいです）。 席については、カウンターとテーブル、テラスがあり、ひとりでも入りやすい雰囲気でした。作っている様子が見える距離感なので、スパイスの香りが店内に広がっていて、それだけでテンションが上がります。電源は無いので作業カフェというより、“香りと一杯を楽しむ”目的向き。短時間でさくっとお茶したい日にも合います。 アクセスは中目黒駅から徒歩圏内で、高架下エリアを歩いているとスパイスの香りで「あ、ここかも」と気づけるのも面白いポイント。支払いはカード・電子マネー・QRコード対応で、テイクアウト需要が多いのも納得でした。 ちなみに「中国のミルクティーチェーン」と迷っている人へ。甘さ強め・トッピングたっぷりの“デザート系ミルクティー”とは方向性が違って、CHIYA-BAはスパイスの香りとミルクのバランスを楽しむ“チャイ専門店”。その日の気分で、甘いご褒美か、香りで整う一杯かを選ぶと満足度が上がると思います。
