Exploring Tokyo’s coolest areas + food stops

Spent the day exploring some of Tokyo’s trendiest pockets - starting with a slow morning in Ebisu, then walking through Daikanyama and Nakameguro for the peaceful canal-side views, cute cafes, and curated stores.

Ended the day in the buzz of Shinjuku, but you could also head towards Shibuya instead if you prefer a full walking route through these vibrant neighbourhoods. A perfect mix of calm and chaos ♥️

Their potato foam curry noodles offer a unique comfort food experience—creamy, flavorful, and totally satisfying. Even if you’re not into curry, their soba dishes are a great alternative. While wandering around Daikanyama and Nakameguro, take some time to check out the vintage stores like Kindal, where you can find pre-loved luxury items including Cartier and Chanel—perfect for fashion enthusiasts on the hunt for unique pieces. Just a heads-up: some prices can be close to retail, so it’s worth weighing the value. For a relaxing pit stop, I highly recommend Chiyaba café in Nakameguro. Their chai latte was a highlight for me, plus it’s a great spot to rest your legs after walking through these trendy pockets of Tokyo. Food lovers should also try the Taiyaki at Hiiragi, famous for its generous red bean filling. It’s a classic Japanese snack that’s both delicious and fun to eat. And don’t forget to grab a milk pudding from a convenience store—trust me, it’s an underrated treat that’s incredibly popular in Japan! At night, Shinjuku offers a bustling atmosphere that contrasts with the morning calm of Ebisu and Daikanyama. Whether you prefer the energetic city lights or the quieter canal-side strolls, Tokyo balances both perfectly. This blend of calm and vibrant chaos makes exploring these neighborhoods a truly memorable experience.

Tried some of the popular Tokyo snacks 😋
I got all of them from Tokyo Station. 1. Press Butter Sand The crust is light and buttery. The filling is surprisingly not sweet despite being a butter cream and butter caramel. Their store is located inside the JR line. Just right across NY Perfect Cheese. I didn't get the chance to
