As I stared at the letter that had been sitting on my desk for three days that I dared not to open before. Now gazing at it I felt compelled to open it almost like a silent dare that had been bestowed upon me. I ignored all calls and texts as I peeled open the letter… “what..the…actual…f@!k”…
⚠️TW: swerslide ⚠️The letter had been sitting on my doorstep for three days before I dared to open it. It smelled of lavender and vanilla, just like my older sister had before… she took her own life. Her neat, precise hand writing filled the yellowing pages. ‘Dear Nora, If you’re reading this, I’m gone. You’re on your own now. And I’m sorry I can’t be there anymore. You have to be strong, brave, and ruthless in this world. There’s not a will for me to give, no belongings for me to leave you, but I do have this; Will you dare to dream big?’
