feels so weird #tattooremoval #tattoo #beforeandafter
Deciding to get my eyebrow tattoos removed was a huge step, and honestly, it felt so weird even thinking about it at first! Like many, I got my eyebrows tattooed years ago hoping for perfect, defined brows. But over time, what once felt like a good idea started to feel less like 'me.' Looking back at the 'THIS IS BEFORE' photos, you can definitely see 'THEY'RE VERY DARK' and 'THEY'RE VERY BOLD,' which wasn't the natural look I craved anymore. The thought of 'EYEBROW TATTOO REMOVAL' was daunting, and 'I'M SCARED ABOUT' the pain was a big concern. But I reached a point where I just knew I had to go for it. When I finally walked into the clinic, I remember thinking, 'OH MY GOD, I GOT MY EYEBROW TATTOOS REMOVED!' The actual procedure was pretty quick, 'FAST SO' that part was a relief. However, I won't lie, it was 'PRETTY UNCOMFORTABLE.' If I had to rate the pain, 'I WOULD SAY ABOUT AN 8' on a scale of 1 to 10. It felt like tiny rubber bands snapping against my skin, but thankfully, each session was brief. Immediately after, I looked in the mirror and thought, 'I FEEL BALD!' Plus, the technician had warned me that 'MY EYEBROW HAIRS WOULD BE WHITE FOR A LITTLE BIT' because the laser targets the pigment. Seeing 'ALL THE COLOUR OUT' of the tattoo was amazing, but the temporary white hairs were definitely a surprise. Despite that initial shock, 'BUT I FEEL YOU KNOW LIGHTER' and freer. It’s a process, not a one-and-done deal, and I’m still on my journey to complete fading. For anyone considering getting an eyebrow tattoo – whether a big statement or a 'small' enhancement – or thinking about removal, here’s my personal advice. Do your homework! Research experienced technicians who specialize in this. Understand that removal takes multiple sessions, sometimes 6-10 or more, and patience is key. The results aren't instant, and complete fading isn't always guaranteed, but significant improvement is very possible. Prepare for some discomfort, and make sure you follow all aftercare instructions carefully to prevent complications. Things like avoiding sun exposure and keeping the area clean are crucial. Also, managing expectations about your natural eyebrow hairs is important. They might lighten or temporarily disappear, but usually grow back to their normal color. The cost can also add up, so factor that into your decision. Ultimately, for me, the decision to remove my eyebrow tattoos has been incredibly liberating, and I regret not doing it sooner. It's truly a 'before and after' transformation that goes beyond just skin deep.
