How Aggie came to be mine 🩷
I work at an animal hospital. For the longest time, I was one of the only people in our clinic who didn’t have a dog of my own. Every single time a dog came in that needed a home, so many of my coworkers pushed for me to take them home.. unfortunately, every time it didn’t work out. Until January 13, 2022. I’m sitting up at the front desk and like so many times before, a bunch of my coworkers ran up telling me that there was a puppy in the back that needed a home and I HAD to have her. I was pretty hesitant because as I said, there had been so many times where it just didn’t work out, but I decided I’d go check her out anyways. I’m waiting in the back and one of them hands me this tiny little 2 pound girl and it was OVER. I was in LOVE. The woman who brought her in had found her on the side of the highway walking out of the woods. she was tiny and scared and by the location she was found in, was clearly dumped. After seeing her, holding her, and hearing her story I knew she was meant for me. I went in to work that day with just my cat at home, and left with my soul dog.
