今回の治療では、全身麻酔を使用して専門的な器具で丁寧にプラークを除去することで、早期発見ができたのがとても重要でした。愛犬はまだ幼いですが、歯の密集による歯周病のリスクは人間と同じように深刻で、放置すると食べる楽しみも減ってしまいます。 また、マイクロスコープで細部まで観察した結果、根の組織が壊れて膿んでいる歯が見つかり、残念ながら4本もの歯を抜くことになりました。痛みや感染症からの解放と今後の健康維持のためには不可欠な処置だったと感じています。 自宅でのケアも大切で、パパちゃんと一緒に通い始めた歯磨き教室は、正しい磨き方や歯茎のケア方法を学べてとても役に立ちます。愛犬の未来のために温存治療と定期的なスケーリングで進行を遅らせることも大事です。 歯がボロボロになる前に早めの診察とケアをおすすめしたいです。私も今回の経験から、飼い主として日々のケアの大切さを実感しました。特に幼犬の歯は繊細なので、違和感を感じたらすぐに専門医に相談するのが安心ですね。
