Skincare tips for in your late 20โ€™s ๐Ÿซถ๐Ÿป

Iโ€™ve always loved skincare, and these are some of my favorite tips that improved my skin the most!

-First, diet. I personally get cystic acne from drinking dairy milk, so I cut it out completely and my cystic acne went away. Drinking plenty of water also helps keep my face hydrated and glowing!

- Always be super gentle on your skin. Never tug or pull, and use light sweeping movements when cleansing or applying products

-I completely stopped using physical exfoliants and only use chemical exfoliants. Physical exfoliation is too harsh on the face and can actually cause more damage/breakouts down the road.

-Washing my hands before I do my skincare routine and also having a towel designated for only drying my face helped my breakouts a lot.

-When I remove my makeup I always use a rose hip oil cleanser, and I double cleanse with Cetaphil. When cleansing, I use the 60 second rule, which means I make sure to cleanse my face for at least 60 seconds. This ensures Iโ€™m getting all the grime off my face, and also gives the ingredients in my face wash enough time to soak into my skin and work their magic.

-I incorporated an oil cleansing routine into my skincare, where once a week or every 2 weeks I use my rose hip oil to cleanse and massage my face for 20 minutes. It helps exfoliate and pull oil and dirt out from the pores and leaves my skin super soft! I also do gua sha and lymphatic drainage massages in my face and neck daily.

- Sunscreen EVERYDAY. Especially when using retinol and vitamin c products.

- Iโ€™ve always been a side sleeper, but I try to sleep on my back as much as possible to keep my face from being squished when I sleep, which can cause wrinkles
