Shosenkyo Gorge, located in Kofu City, Yamanashi Prefecture, has been designated as a Special Place of Scenic Beauty and is a representative scenic spot in Yamanashi Prefecture.
What to see in Shosenkyo
🏔 Kakuenbo
It is a magnificent spot symbolizing Shosenkyo Gorge with a huge rock pillar with a height of about 180 m.
💧 Senga Falls
It is a famous waterfall with a height of about 30 meters and has been selected as one of the 100 best waterfalls in Japan. It is full of negative ions and feels particularly cool in summer. It is really cool 😊
🚡 Shosenkyo Ropeway
It takes about 5 minutes to reach the summit. On a clear day, you can see Mt. Fuji and the Southern Alps, and there are Yasaburo-dake and a power spot at the summit.
You can also enjoy eating while walking!
Souvenir shops and restaurants are lined up near the waterfall, and Nagashi Somen
You can enjoy Shingen mochi soft serve, baked dumplings, shaved ice, local wine and grape juice 🎶

The shaved ice carefully shaved by the ice master is covered with a lot of syrup using fruits from Yamanashi Prefecture and it's really delicious 😋 It melts and disappears the moment you put it in your mouth 🫠 In summer, Momotaro ice using Yamanashi peaches and caramel corn ice using corn seems to be recommended 🎶 But after all I 🍓 strawberries 🤭 ♡

私自身、この夏に昇仙峡へ訪れた際、覚円峰の壮大な岩柱に圧倒され、まさに日本一の渓谷美を実感しました。仙娥滝の近くでは、落差約30mの滝から降り注ぐマイナスイオンを全身で浴びて心身ともにリフレッシュできました。 昇仙峡ロープウェイを利用すると、約5分で山頂に到着。晴天ならば雄大な富士山や南アルプスの絶景が望め、山頂のパワースポットでパワーチャージも楽しめます。私が特に感動したのは、滝の近くにあるcafe.linksの天然氷かき氷です。かき氷は氷師さんが一削り一削り丁寧に削った天然氷で、口に入れた瞬間にふわっと溶ける食感が最高。山梨県産の果物を使用したシロップは濃厚で桃やいちご、キャラメルコーン味も絶品でした。 また、流しそうめんや信玄餅ソフト、地元ワインやぶどうジュースといった食べ歩きも楽しめ、暑い夏でも涼しく充実した一日を過ごせます。ふわふわのパンケーキやピザもあり、小腹が空いた時にもおすすめです。 昇仙峡は夏の避暑地としてだけでなく、自然美やグルメ、癒やしのパワースポットを一度に満喫できるスポットです。家族連れや友人同士の夏旅にぜひ訪れてみてください。涼しさと感動が待っています！
