Read more高千穂峡とは、宮崎県西臼杵郡高千穂町にある渓谷で、柱状節理の岩肌とエメラルド色の川、そして「真名井の滝」の景色が有名な観光スポットです。写真で見て憧れていたんですが、実物は“空気ごと気持ちいい”感じで、散策するだけでもかなり癒されました。 高千穂峡の楽しみ方で外せないのが、やっぱりボート。下から見上げる真名井の滝が大迫力で、滝のしぶき＋マイナスイオンで一気にリフレッシュできます。ただ、ボートは人気が高いので注意点も多め。WEB予約は2週間前からできるので、予定が決まったら即予約が安心です。私が行った日は平日でも時間帯によってはかなり待つことがあると聞きました。土日は当日券がない日もあるので、特に週末・連休は「予約前提」で組むのがおすすめ。料金は目安として30分4,000円〜を見ておくと計画しやすいです。 散策派の人は、高千穂峡の遊歩道もぜひ。渓谷の形や水の色が場所ごとに違って、歩くだけで“見どころ”が次々出てきます。歩きやすい靴は必須で、雨の後は足元が滑りやすいので注意。朝早めの時間は人が少なくて、写真も撮りやすかったです。 高千穂峡周辺観光としてセットで回りやすいのが「高千穂神社」。境内は静かで空気が澄んでいて、観光で歩き回ったあとに立ち寄ると気持ちが整う感じがしました。有名な夫婦杉は、手をつないで3周回ると願いが叶うと言われているので、縁結びや夫婦円満のご利益を願う人はぜひ。 駐車場は、高千穂峡側は有料の場所が多く、高千穂神社は無料があるのが助かりました。峡の駐車場近くには売店やごはん屋さんもあって、散策前後の休憩に便利。SNSで見かける「幸せの黄色いポスト」や、ハートの絵馬みたいな“映え”要素もあるので、観光＋写真目的の人も満足度高いと思います。 まとめると、高千穂峡観光は「ボート（予約）＋散策＋高千穂神社」を1日で回すのが鉄板。高千穂へ行くべき場所を探しているなら、まず最初に候補に入れて損なしの絶景スポットでした。
