This beautiful green cheek conure is one of the stars of my upcoming book, *Ripple Effect Coloring with Friends*! A big thank-you to Jake for having Henry featured in the book and adding his feathery charm to the pages.
I still have a few spots left, so if you’d like the opportunity to join in, now’s your chance!

Oh my goodness, I'm just bursting with excitement about Henry, our adorable green cheek conure, making his debut in the 'Ripple Effect Coloring with Friends' book! Seeing his sweet face transformed into a beautiful line art drawing for everyone to color truly warms my heart. It's such a unique way to celebrate these amazing little birds. If you're anything like me, you probably adore green cheek conures. Their vibrant green, grey, and black feathers, those bright eyes, and their playful personalities make them such captivating subjects for any artist, whether you're an experienced illustrator or just love to relax with a coloring page. I’ve spent countless hours just watching Henry, noticing all the subtle shifts in his feather patterns that make him so special. When you're coloring a green cheek conure, remember to really look at their natural markings – sometimes there are hints of blue or red that can add so much life to your artwork! Speaking of art, one of the things I love most about coloring pages, especially ones featuring our feathered friends, is how incredibly relaxing they are. It’s not just for kids! Taking the time to fill in the intricate details of a conure's features, or the pretty rosemary and flowers that frame our Henry in the book, can be such a calming and meditative experience. It's a fantastic way to unwind after a busy day, letting your creativity flow without any pressure. You can experiment with different shades of green for their bodies, or vibrant purples and yellows for the flowers, just like in the colored illustration I saw. For those who might be new to green cheek conures, they are truly wonderful companions. They're known for being quite intelligent, playful, and yes, very "tame" and "hand tame" when socialized properly. It's amazing how much personality can fit into such a small bird! They can even learn little tricks. When you're drawing or coloring them, capturing their expressive eyes and that slightly mischievous tilt of their head can really bring your bird to life on the page. Creating your own green cheek conure drawing, or even just an outline, is a fantastic way to connect with these birds even if you don't have one as a pet. You can imagine their chirps and squawks as you add color to their image. I'm so thrilled that Henry gets to share his charm with even more people through this coloring book. It’s a fantastic opportunity to appreciate the beauty of these green cheeks and get lost in the joy of coloring. If you’re looking for a delightful new pet-themed activity or just want to add some birb beauty to your day, definitely check out coloring pages featuring these adorable conures. Who knows, it might even inspire you to learn more about them!
