skin prep before makeup?

The simple answer is yes! I have noticed a big difference in my makeup and makeup application when I prep my skin correctly. All these products are a little on the pricer side, but they last for months and a little goes a long way. Here’s my skin prep routine:

First, I wash my face with the La Roche-Posay Hydrating Cleanser for about 2 minutes making sure I really cleanse my skin and even down my neck.

Second, ICING YOUR FACE IS SO IMPORTANT! Icing your face has so many benefits including pore shrinking, depuffing, etc. I love love love it.

Next, after drying my face I apply a small amount of the Glow Recipe Watermelon Dew Drops. I let that sink into my skin for a few minutes before moving onto the next step.

Lastly, I apply a generous amount of the La Roche-Posay Double Repair Moisturizer onto my face and down my neck. I as well let that sink into my skin for a few minutes before starting my makeup routine.

These products are amazing, and I hope this helps💋💋

Start by cleansing your face thoroughly; a product like La Roche-Posay Hydrating Cleanser does wonders for removing impurities. Once your skin is clean, consider icing your face. This not only reduces puffiness but also tightens the pores, creating a smooth canvas for makeup. Next, incorporating serums is key; Glow Recipe's Watermelon Dew Drops hydrate the skin and give a brightening effect. Let it sit for a few minutes to absorb before moving on. Finally, applying a good moisturizer such as La Roche-Posay Double Repair Moisturizer helps to lock in moisture, keeping your makeup looking fresh all day. This step should not be overlooked, as it prevents makeup from settling into fine lines and dry patches. With these tips, you can elevate your makeup look significantly!
