An idea is like a virus, resilient, highly contagious. The smallest seed of an idea can grow. It can grow to define or destroy you. #ifykyk
From my experience, ideas really do have an incredible power to influence our lives and decisions. I remember walking through Brooklyn, New York, reflecting on the phrase "dream within a dream" and how it captures the layered nature of our thoughts and aspirations. Ideas are like seeds that, once planted, have the potential to grow into something much bigger—sometimes unexpectedly so. What’s fascinating is how contagious good ideas can be; they spread through conversations, social media, and even our own reflections, inspiring not only ourselves but those around us. I noticed that whenever I shared a positive or creative thought, it sparked discussions and sometimes motivated others to take action too. However, it’s important to recognize that not all ideas lead to growth—they can also limit or harm us if we let destructive thoughts take root. That’s why being mindful of the ideas we entertain and nurture is crucial. Practicing awareness and pausing before fully embracing an idea allows us to choose which ‘viral’ thoughts will define us positively. In essence, the way I view ideas is that they’re powerful tools for personal transformation. The smallest seed of an idea, whether a dream in Brooklyn or a fleeting insight, has the potential to chart a new course for our lives—if we let it grow thoughtfully and intentionally.
