my january makeup favorites ❄️ ✨

now that January is over, I wanted to share some of my favorite makeup products that I’ve been loving this month especially for the winter.

1) summer fridays sheer skin tint

this gives me the perfect base underneath my makeup. It’s not too cakey, and it sits really well underneath my blush and other products.

2) defy glow and sculpt primer

I cannot get over how amazing this primer is. It has a roller ball at the bottom so it helps to sculpt your face, and it gives you the prettiest glow without being too shiny.

3) saie super glowy gel - sunglow

these bronzing drops are my favorite. It looks so natural underneath your makeup, and this shade in specific makes you look so tan while also giving you a subtle glow.

4) rhode pocket blush - sleepy

I have been using this blush nonstop in the winter. It’s a mauve-toned subtle red shade so it looks like I’ve been in the sun a little which I personally really love

5) rhode lip tint - toast

This is a little bit of a darker pink, but it’s still sheer and really natural looking. I love the new formula of these rhode lip tints because they are not grainy and I don’t have to reapply them too often.

... Read moreWinter makeup demands products that provide hydration and a natural finish despite the cold, dry air, and I’ve found the ones I shared really help achieve that effortlessly. One product that stands out to me is the Refy Glow & Sculpt Primer. The unique roller ball applicator not only massages the face but also helps with contouring, giving a defined look without needing heavy contour makeup. It leaves my skin with a soft, lit-from-within glow that's perfect under foundation or just tinted moisturizer. The Summer Fridays Sheer Skin Tint is fantastic for days when I want light coverage but still a smooth complexion. It’s not cakey, so it layers beautifully with blush and bronzer, making it versatile for varying winter looks. Speaking of bronzer, the Saie Super Glowy Gel in Sunglow is a game-changer. It delivers a sun-kissed radiance that looks incredibly natural and refreshes my winter skin tones that can otherwise look dull. I’m also obsessed with the Rhode pocket blush in Sleepy. Its mauve-red tone adds warmth to my cheeks resembling the natural flush from being outside. It’s subtle enough for daily wear but still noticeable. For lips, the Rhode lip tint in Toast feels weightless and the updated formula means no grainy texture and lasting wear without constant reapplication, which is essential for colder months when dryness is an issue. Overall, these products combine to maintain a glowy, fresh winter look without feeling heavy or dry. My personal tip for winter makeup is to always focus on hydration and dewy finishes to counteract the season’s harsh conditions. Layering lightweight products ensures the makeup stays put without caking or flaking, making these favorites a perfect fit for winter makeup routines.
