Hey everyone! I'm thrilled to finally share my latest digital anime girl drawing with you all. For those following my work, you know how much I pour into each piece, and this one, in my signature Ritzu art style, is no exception. There's a certain magic that happens when you bring a character to life from a blank canvas, and I wanted to capture a vibrant, playful energy here. When I started sketching this girl, I envisioned her with long dark hair cascading down, giving her a mysterious yet charming aura. I spent a lot of time on her outfit details – that sheer brown top with the ruffled blue bra underneath, paired with a lively blue and pink ruffled skirt, really came together to give her a unique look. And of course, the peace sign she's making adds to her cool, confident vibe! It’s all about creating those little details that make a character truly pop. One of my favorite additions to this piece is the smaller chibi version of the character. I feel like it adds an extra layer of cuteness and personality, almost like a little spirit companion. It's a fun way to show different facets of a character within a single artwork. For the background, I experimented with a dynamic grid pattern, which I think gives the piece a modern, digital feel, and yes, that 'LOL' text is a little inside joke I sometimes add to my art! It's these small inclusions that make the creative process so enjoyable for me. Many of you often ask about my process, especially when it comes to finding inspiration. Pinterest is an absolute goldmine for me! I spend hours browsing for color palettes, fashion trends, and pose references that help fuel my 'girl drawing' ideas. There's almost a 'physical art intimacy' I feel when I'm deep into a drawing – it's the intense focus, the connection to the character I'm creating, and the desire to convey emotion through lines and colors.
