STOP POSTING YOUR CHILDREN’S FACES !!!!
The internet has always been a dangerous place, but with so much AI and access to so much information about people it’s become even more scary! By not posting my son’s face on public platforms I am hoping to avoid any creeps or AI influence. Additionally, child exploitation of parents has become very mainstream so by not posting his face, I hope that my account remains focused on me and my parenting journey and nothing more !! 💙 What do you think? Would you consider stopping all public photos of your child/children, or do you already instill these rules?
In today's digital landscape, the rise of technology such as AI has heightened concerns regarding online safety, especially when it comes to children. Many parents are now re-evaluating the information they share online about their kids. By avoiding posting your child's face, you can significantly reduce the risk of unwanted attention and exploitation. Child predators increasingly exploit images shared on social media, making it vital to consider the potential implications before uploading seemingly harmless pictures. Also, AI technology has advanced to such an extent that deepfake algorithms can manipulate images, creating unsettling scenarios where a child's likeness is used inappropriately. It's essential for parents to think about these risks and establish guidelines for online sharing. Discussions around these topics within parenting communities underscore the need for awareness and protective measures. Engaging in conversations about digital parenting can help parents share experiences, find support, and learn from each other's strategies to keep their children safe online. Ultimately, making conscious decisions about what to post can help in cultivating a safer digital environment for future generations.
