the alter is open run
Before Jesus death only the high priest could enter the inner room (the Holy of Holies) once a year.
Because of Jesus death we now have forgiveness and access to come to God directly not only once a year but every day and night. So don't hesitate, but run to the alter. GLORY!! HALLELUJAH!! Thank you Jesus for your sacrifices. AMEN!! Bless Beautiful Good Friday Morning 🎧📖🙌💜
The tearing of the temple veil as described in Matthew 27:50-51 marked a transformative moment in Christian faith—symbolizing the removal of barriers between humanity and God. Before this event, only the high priest could enter the Holy of Holies once a year to make atonement, representing a limited and holy access to God's presence. After Jesus' death, believers gained unprecedented access to God's grace and forgiveness, no longer constrained by the old covenant rituals. This access is an invitation to approach God with confidence, daily and continuously, to seek forgiveness, guidance, and peace. From personal experience, this new freedom means I no longer feel distant or separated from the divine; instead, I find comfort in knowing I can pray and connect at any moment. The altar symbolizes this open doorway—no longer a restricted holy place but a welcoming refuge. Embracing this truth has deepened my faith and daily spiritual practice. It encourages me to live with gratitude and humility, remembering the sacrifice that made such access possible. On Good Friday, reflecting on this sacrifice inspires renewed commitment and joy knowing that God’s presence is intimately accessible. If you are seeking a profound connection with God and forgiveness, I encourage you to approach the altar with a repentant heart, embracing the freedom that Jesus' sacrifice provides. It is a continual call to come boldly into God’s presence, anytime and anywhere, to experience His love and grace fully.
