Easy spam fired rice🍚

Looking for an easy dinner idea. Don’t look any further! Here is an easy spam fried rice dinner. It’s super fast and easy when you forget to take out a meat. Steam 1 cup of white rice for 20 min with 2 2/3 cups of water. In a separate pan add onion, garlic, stir fry veggie mix, and chopped spam with olive oil. Let that cook. Once done add three eggs and mix that in to cook. Season to taste. I like salt, garlic salt, pepper, ginger powder, and sesame seed. Once the rice is done add it to the spam mix with some soy sauce, mix and Enjoy!

... Read moreSpam fried rice is one of those comfort dishes that I often turn to when I want something filling but don’t have a lot of time. Beyond the basic ingredients, you can really customize this recipe to your taste and pantry supply. For instance, I like to add frozen mixed vegetables for a quick nutrient boost without extra prep. Sometimes I toss in peas, carrots, or corn along with the stir-fry mix to add a pop of color and texture. Using sesame oil instead of olive oil can give the dish a deeper, nuttier flavor that compliments the soy sauce well. And if you’re a fan of spice, adding a pinch of chili flakes or a drizzle of sriracha can give it a nice kick. When cooking the rice, I recommend slightly undercooking it so it doesn’t get mushy once mixed with the other ingredients. One tip I’ve found helpful is to scramble the eggs separately before adding them back in, which keeps the egg pieces fluffy and prevents them from overcooking. Also, seasoning plays a big role here — garlic salt and ginger powder add a warm aromatic note that elevates the overall taste. This recipe is also great for using up leftovers or whatever vegetables you have on hand, making it economical and reducing food waste. Plus, it reheats really well, so you can make a batch ahead and enjoy it the next day for lunch or dinner. Definitely a go-to easy meal for busy evenings or when you want a no-fuss dinner that still tastes homemade and satisfying.
