How often do you get to say you made your own glass? 🤯

I’m always looking for experiences that make a road trip feel more memorable, and this was such a fun addition to mine. Instead of buying a regular souvenir, I came home with a glass piece that I created myself 😍

During my Upstate New York road trip, I stopped at the @Corning Museum of Glass and did the “Make Your Own Glass experience”.

You can choose from different projects and customize your piece with the colors you like. I decided to make a vase using a mix of colors. The museum’s glassmakers handle the more technical parts while guiding you safely through the experience, so it’s beginner-friendly.

The museum also has live glassmaking demonstrations, interactive exhibits, and beautiful glass galleries, so it’s such a fun stop to add to an Upstate New York road trip.
