it occurred to me that Trump might just be trying to send us a signal... that he would unleash this show of power against anyone, anybody he wants... if his presidency is really threatened by a significant number of people. we don't flash our military... the russians do and the north koreans do... why put our nation in the category of the russians and the north koreans, nations of oppression? he's doing it as a show of force against US, the people, reminding us to behave or else. that's what this parade is about, and to display 'the emperor's new clothes.'

if citizens are causing destruction and the only way to make them stop is the military i dont see why its a problem. if people were being peaceful then there would be no need, hes trying to protect us all and i think its exactly what he should do
