I used to pile on 7+ products every night and wonder why my skin wasn't happy. 😅

Turns out, beginners don't need a complicated routine. You just need to get the BASICS right:

💧 Step 1: Double Cleanse (Night)This is non-negotiable if you wear makeup or SPF. I start with a cleansing balm on dry skin—gently massage to melt everything off, add water to emulsify, then rinse.

Lately I've been reaching for the ddg Cleansing Balm (Oat Aroma) 🌾—the texture is so soft and it literally melts makeup away without that tight, stripped feeling. Plus the oat scent is so calming at the end of a long day. ✨

Follow with a gentle second cleanser and pat dry.

🧴 Step 2: Hydrate & MoisturizeToner first to prep the skin, then lock it all in with a good moisturizer. Hydrated skin = happy skin barrier.

That's literally it. Two steps. Don't overcomplicate it when you're starting out!
