I've always been a huge fan of brain teasers, especially those tricky number riddles that really make you think! There's something so satisfying about cracking a positive integer puzzle, isn't there? It's like your brain gets a mini-workout, and that 'aha!' moment when all the clues click into place is just the best. When I encounter a riddle like the one above, I have a little process I usually follow. First, I like to break down all the given constraints. For example, knowing it's a "two-digit number" immediately narrows down the possibilities. Then, adding "between 40 and 70" makes the search even more manageable. This is where you start feeling like a detective, eliminating suspects! Next, I look for the more direct mathematical clues. The "not divisible by 3" rule is a classic one. I quickly run through the numbers in my head or on paper that fit the first two criteria and then cross out any that are perfectly divisible by three. It's all about methodically reducing the potential candidates. The more unique clues are often the most fun to tackle. Take the 'reverse my digits and you get a perfect square' constraint from our riddle. That's a strong hint! I'd start by listing all the two-digit perfect squares (like 16, 25, 36, 49, 64, 81) and then reverse their digits (giving you 61, 52, 63, 94, 46, 18, respectively). Now I have a new, smaller set of numbers to work with, and I can check them against the other rules. This is where the puzzle really starts to take shape! And then there's the truly creative clue: 'The sum of my digits equals the number of letters in my English name.' This is where the riddle gets really clever! For each remaining candidate, I'd calculate the sum of its digits and then carefully count the letters in its written-out English name. It's a bit of a linguistic challenge combined with arithmetic, which I just adore. Sometimes, I even write out the number names to make sure I don't miss a hyphen or a word. It's not just about finding the answer; it's about enjoying that journey of discovery. Every time I solve one, I feel like I've sharpened my mind just a little bit more.
