Life Thoughts, Wednesday - 5-26-26
Hi, Here’s a Life Thought.
Be careful of people who only value you because of what you can do for them. Become aware of the people you’re with. You never have to stay where you aren’t appreciated. Including where you work, your circle of friends, etc. Your life will be much better if you pay attention. Have you ever felt like you didn’t fit?
As always, be nice, be safe, and laugh a lot!
Talk tomorrow.
If you find value in my videos or even if they just make you laugh or think, please share them. I want to reach as many people as I can. Thank you for watching.

Navigating relationships where you feel truly appreciated can be a real challenge, especially in environments like work or social circles where the balance of give and take can become skewed. From my own experience, I've found that recognizing when someone values you only for what you can do for them is liberating. It allows you to set boundaries and prioritize your well-being. These situations often manifest as one-sided relationships where your efforts go unnoticed beyond their utility. Once, I was part of a community group where I constantly offered support and help, but rarely received empathy or care in return. The turning point was when I became more aware of this imbalance and decided to distance myself from that environment. This shift improved my mental health and opened doors to friendships and professional networks that genuinely valued me as a person, not just a resource. Paying attention to how people treat you and asking yourself, "Do I feel appreciated here?" is crucial. If the answer is no, it might be time to reconsider those connections. Remember, you don’t have to stay where you aren’t valued—whether it’s at work or in your social life. Also, compassion towards yourself is key; be kind, stay safe, and make room for laughter—it’s healing. Sharing these realizations with others can help them recognize their own situations too, creating a supportive ripple effect. Life improves when you’re surrounded by gratitude and genuine connections, so seek those who cherish the real you.
