Maybe you're dreaming of a 'ski chic' vibe, or a 'rustic cabin comfort' aesthetic. The beauty is, it's completely personal! I usually begin by browsing Pinterest, Instagram, or even fashion magazines for inspiration. Look for images of outfits, color palettes, textures, and even interior design that speak to you. Don't limit yourself to just clothes! A picture of a snowy landscape, a steaming mug of hot cocoa, or a flickering fireplace can all contribute to the overall feeling of your moodboard. Think about keywords like "current winter style," "winter aesthetic," and "cold weather fashion" to guide your search. Key elements I always include in my winter fashion mood boards are: Cozy Textures: Think chunky knits, soft cashmere, faux fur, supple leather, and rich corduroy. These not only look good but feel amazing in the colder weather. Layering Ideas: Winter fashion is all about smart layering. Look for inspiration on how to combine sweaters, turtlenecks, blazers, and coats for both warmth and style.
