I don’t believe in Sunday Scaries.🍋
I believe in setting intention with what is important and starting your week with a heathy mindset.
Time with family, meal planning, church, sleep, and orienting the week ahead is how we Sunday reset at the Glover house (even while traveling)
What is a part of your Sunday reset?
The Sunday Scaries can really take a toll on your mindset, but I’ve found that developing a consistent Sunday reset routine helps me turn that anxiety into calm and preparation. One key step I swear by is setting clear intentions for the upcoming week—this isn’t just about making lists, but mentally preparing yourself for what truly matters. Family time is a big part of this process. Whether gathering for a meal or just relaxing together, those moments create a sense of grounding and support. I also dedicate some time on Sundays to meal planning. Preparing meals ahead or organizing ingredients in advance removes a lot of weekday stress, giving me more energy to focus on tasks and self-care. Another essential pillar is spirituality or mindfulness practice, such as attending church or simply meditating. This time helps me center my thoughts and cultivate gratitude, which shifts my focus away from stressors. Ensuring I get quality sleep Sunday night is also crucial—it recharges me physically and mentally for the demands ahead. Even when traveling, I try to maintain these habits to keep consistency. This routine reminds me that Sunday isn’t a day to dread, but an opportunity to reset and prepare with intention. What I’ve learned is that by actively orienting your Sunday with these practices, you reclaim the day from anxiety and start the week empowered and balanced.
