Mornings That Don’t Feel Rushed

✨The days of me waking up five minutes before I need to start getting ready are long gone. My nervous system can no longer handle it-maybe it's my age, life, more responsibilities. I'm not really sure, but the jump-out-of-bed, heart-racing days are no longer for me.

✨These are the 3 things I do every single morning that require very little effort but work for me:

-Lighting a candle/turning lamps on or my Christmas tree (never the big lights, they're too jarring)

-Making a cup of coffee and enjoying it in silence while I respond to emails. I tried the whole "don't look at your phone for the first 30 minutes" but I struggle with that. Maybe that'll be my New year's resolution? But its how I stay ahead and don't feel like I'm falling behind

-Lastly, I always make my bed so it feels like I've already accomplished something early in the morning
