Many of you have been asking, and after a lot of thought, I decided it was time for my 'manepear' face reveal! It feels a little nerve-wracking but also really exciting to finally put a face to the name for those who've only seen my cosplay characters or snippets of my style. This is me, completely out of character, just sharing my authentic self. This look is totally 'me' in my everyday alt/goth aesthetic. I wanted to go for something that truly represents my style when I'm not in full character. You can see my signature black and white hair, which I absolutely adore – it's such a fun contrast and always gets a lot of questions! For the makeup, I really went all out with dramatic gold and red eye makeup. It’s a bit bold, but I love how it makes my eyes pop and adds that mysterious, vampy vibe. I usually start with a dark base, then blend in the gold on the inner corner and the red on the outer v for that intense gradient. Paired with my favorite matte dark lipstick, it just completes the whole look – perfect for a night out or just feeling extra dramatic at home! And the outfit? This striped blouse with its puffed sleeves and lace-trimmed neckline is one of my go-to pieces. It has that perfect blend of vintage charm and gothic elegance, making any outfit feel a little more special. I picked it up from a small boutique, and it’s become a wardrobe staple. Of course, no alt look is complete without a statement accessory, and this black choker with a cross pendant is a staple for me. It adds an edgy touch without being too over the top, and I often layer it with other necklaces for a more elaborate feel. I feel so comfortable and confident in this style, and it’s something I truly enjoy expressing. It’s all about embracing what feels good to *you*. I've been working on a super exciting cosplay series, and you'll definitely be seeing those posts soon! This 'off-duty' look is just a little peek behind the scenes before I dive into all the elaborate costumes. It's been a journey finding my unique style, and I love how the alt/goth aesthetic allows for so much creativity and self-expression. Don't be afraid to experiment with bold makeup like gold and red tones, or try out different accessories like chokers to elevate your own everyday look. Remember, fashion is about having fun and showing off your personality. What are your favorite alt/goth fashion pieces or makeup tips? Let me know in the comments – I'd love to hear your thoughts and connect with you all!
