Cooking lasagna at home is always rewarding because it allows you to customize flavors and control ingredients, making it both tasty and comforting. Using Walmart products like Prego spaghetti sauce, shredded mozzarella, and Farberware garlic bread makes the shopping process easy and affordable. When preparing the hamburger meat, I like to add extra Italian seasonings such as oregano, basil, and garlic powder to enhance the sauce's rich flavor. Layering is the key to a perfect lasagna—make sure each layer of noodles is evenly covered with sauce and cheese for that gooey texture. Boiling the noodles properly without overcooking ensures they hold their shape while baking. I highly recommend lightly oiling the baking dish before layering; it helps prevent sticking and makes cleanup easier. For the garlic bread, flipping halfway through baking guarantees both sides get crispy. If you want to add an extra golden crunch, broil the lasagna for the last few minutes but watch closely to avoid burning. Letting the lasagna rest for about 10 minutes after baking helps the layers set, making it easier to cut and serve. As a personal tip, adding fresh basil or parsley on top before serving adds a fresh aroma and a pleasant pop of color. This straightforward recipe is perfect for busy weeknights or casual family dinners, delivering hearty flavors with minimal fuss. Enjoying a meal like this with garlic bread on the side truly complements the cheesy richness of the lasagna, making every bite extra satisfying.
